Worth the wait


I just finished reading Kristen Hannah's "Firefly Lane."  I admit, it took me a long while to get into it, but I'm glad I stuck with it.  Hannah weaves a beautiful story of a timeless friendship that is deeply moving, upbeat, and encouraging.  Definitely one to put on your summer reading list or Kindle!

Does anyone have any other reading suggestions?  Or any titles of what is on your reading list?  I can't wait to sit on the beach this summer with a book in hand! :)

    I've recommended The Help to everyone I know. It was amazing. I think the Shopaholic series makes for a great beach reads!

    I love that book! I bawled my eyes out at the end! I just read the Emily Giffen books Something Borrowed and Something Blue. I thought they were cute. I never really got into the Shopaholic series, but I love anything else by Sophie Kinsella/Madeline Wickham. Those are great beach books. I am sure I can think of plenty more if you need...

    I loved it, and just like Christie, bawled my brains out at the end! Also loved the Help, Same Kind of Different As Me, and just recently got Redeeming Love but haven't started it yet.
